Learning to fly

In June 2013, I decided to face my greatest fear – flying. I feared not the uncertainty associated to the sport of Paragliding, but rather how much I would grow to love human flight and the infinite possibilities associated with combining with my passion for filmmaking, flight and mountaineering.

It’s been an incredibly humbling experience to say the least! From landing in a tree to crash landing, nearly hitting a cliff and the patience associated with learning something completely new. After a few months, I’m finally starting to get the hang of it. Below are 2 videos from my early flights.

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.
