While on assignment on Mt. Everest, I shared my journey with thousands of students from the ePals global community in real-time. It was quite challenging to film a reality show, produce content and connect with students every step of the way. In the end we succeeded and stood on top of the world for the 2nd time, I even managed to dance on the summit at the request of the students.

The Khumbu Icefall

The Khumbu Icefall is an icefall located at the head of the Khumbu Glacier and the foot of the Western Cwm, which lies at an altitude of 5,486 metres on the Nepali slopes of Mount Everest, not far above Base Camp and southwest of the summit. Here’s a bit of what we experienced today.

Ever wondered how to climb to the top of the world? This short video outlines the strategy we are putting in place to reach the top.

The Lhotse Face

Today we scaled the Lhotse face and topped out at 24, 000ft above sea level. We’re getting closer  to reaching our goal of reaching the summit.
