Rome was pretty much a beautiful mess. Gale force winds outside the Coliseum, dark skies, pouring rain, broken umbrellas, matching ponchos, mini pizzas, road pop wine, Spanish Steps, miles upon miles of getting lost in the ancient city and making the most of the most unlikely way to see such an important historical city. Perfection. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day.
