This Is What Summiting Everest Looks Like

Mount Everest rises 8,849 metres above sea level, the highest point on Earth. This interactive 3D map lets you fly the full route filmmaker and mountaineer Elia Saikaly has climbed and captured, from Kathmandu and the Khumbu Valley villages of Lukla, Namche Bazaar and Tengboche, up through Everest Base Camp, the Khumbu Icefall and the Lhotse Face, to the South Col, the Balcony and the summit.
